Gluten free beer – O’Brien Premium Lager

Before going gluten free I was never a big beer drinker and therefore it didn’t bother me that much that I couldn’t have it anymore. However there are a couple of companies around now that produce gluten free beers and I had been meaning to have a try.We recently had a brainstorm at work for a beer company and decided to try some of their beer for inspiration. Because I couldn’t drink the beer my work was kind enough to buy me a gluten free beer to trial, a bottle of O’Brien Premium Lager.Having not drunk beer for 15 months I actually quite liked this beer,  however I did notice it was very effervescent. A couple of my work colleagues had a try and the feedback wasn’t so good ranging from terrible to average, however I will happily keep drinking it!Have you tried gluten free beer? What were your thoughts?
