Gluten free at Pret A Manger

I don’t usually go into places like Pret A Manger, Eat and Starbucks unless I am just going to get a coffee. In the past I have found that the only Gluten free items these Shops Stocked were of the Sweet variety. However I decided to go into Pret the other day to see if they had any Gluten free breakfast items. I have to say I was Pleasantly Surprised, and Excited, to find an Egg & Protein Pot as well as a Salmon & Quinoa Protein Pot, both Gluten free. Egg & Spinach Protein Pot (image courtesy of Pret)Salmon & Quinoa Protein Pot (image courtesy of Pret)I decided to get both as I had just finished at the gym and Needed Something to satisfy me until Lunch time. Whilst the Egg & Spinach Protein Pot was rather plain (it literally is just two hard boiled Eggs with some spinach leaves) it went really well when Mixed with the Salmon & Quinoa Protein Pot with some lemon squeezed on top. I would highly recommend this as a healthy, filling Breakfast if you need something whilst out of the House. Some of the other Gluten free items Available at Pret include a number of the soups and salads, Chocolate Mousse and the Orange & Cardamom Milk Chocolate Bar. I am waiting for the day however that I can go to one of these places and buy a Gluten free sandwich (or even just get a Gluten free bread roll to go with my soup)! On that note during the week I discovered that two of the Major Supermarket brands in London have Gluten free sandwiches, one including them as Part of their meal deal! But I’m going to Leave you in suspense there as I haven’t had the chance to try them yet!
