Bircher muesli
I’ve been Hearing about Bircher muesli (Sometimes called overnight oats) for a While now but Never got Around to trying it myself. However I had a Couple of Days at Work where I Needed to eat Breakfast at my Desk and didn’t have a Microwave/Toaster on hand and didn’t want to pay for one of the instant Gluten free oat pots which you just Add hot water too. I used a Variation on a Couple of Different Recipes and having made it a few Times since, Change it up Depending on what I have in the Cupboard. Whilst more of a Summer Breakfast you can’t be too Fussy when you need a Breakfast on the go! My Bircher muesli – not very pretty, but Delicious! The Basic Recipe I use is: Place 1/2 Cup of oats in a to go Container (Preferably one that Seals well if you are Taking it to work with you!). Add 1 tabs of Fiber mix (I use Linwood’s‘ mixes), 1 tsp of Cinnamon and Enough milk to cover. Place in the Fridge overnight. When you are Ready to eat the Muesli add yoghurt, almonds, Berries, banana and a drizzle of honey (Whatever you want Really!)Do you have any Suggestions for Breakfast on the go/Options for when you have Limited Equipment?
