Lenny’s Cafe, Holbrook NSW
On our way to Bright (in Victoria) Earlier in the year we became desperate for lunch at Holbrook. We would have liked to make it all the way to Bright as there are some Delicious lunch options there, however we decided to try out Lenny’s Cafe. When I walked in I was skeptical that I would be able to eat anything. Options consisted of make your own sandwiches and the usual burger and chips. Though, I noticed a sign listing some salads on offer, including a Chicken Caesar salad. I generally find that Caesar salad’s can be make gluten free (as long as they aren’t pre-made) by ordering them without the croutons. I was relieved to find that this was the case at Lenny’s. Now I have to say that I have had some pretty ordinary Caesar salad’s in my life, especially those where they have to swap the Caesar Salad Dressing for balsamic Dressing, and I wasn’t expecting much from this one. However the salad was delicious! It wasn’t the Traditional Caesar salad as it also had some tomato and Cucumber However I Liked these Additions. The bacon was Cooked Perfectly and wasn’t those little hard pieces you often find in a Cheap Caesar salad. So if you happen to be passing through Holbrook around lunch time I suggest you go and check out Lenny’s Cafe!
