Byron Bay Cookies

I was lucky enough to receive a parcel in the mail from Byron Bay Cookie Company all the way from the UK. The UK, I hear you asking. In short, while Byron Bay Cookies were originally baked on an old farmhouse stove in Byron Bay the full range is now baked in the UK. This unfortunately means that there are actually some flavours available in the UK that aren’t available in Australia. My delivery of Byron Bay CookiesThe first cookie I tried, which is available in Australia, was the White Choc Chunk & Macadamia. This wasn’t my favourite cookie as I found it a bit dry, however some others that tried it (non-coeliac’s) really liked this one.

This cookie consists of 16% citrus peel which gives it an amazing flavour which is not too sweet or artificial. This was one of my favourites and is available in Australia at a number of cafes!

Gluten free Dark Choc Orange Cookie Gluten free Dark Choc Orange CookieI also enjoyed the Triple Choc Fudge Cookie which contains white and dark choc chunks. I am often not a fan of gluten free chocolate biscuits however I would definitely eat this one again. This cookie is also available in Australia.Gluten free Triple Choc Fudge CookieI was really looking forward to trying the Triple Choc Fudge Dotty Cookie (I’m still a kid at heart!) and I wasn’t disappointed. This cookie combines the deliciousness of the triple choc fudge cookie with smarties on top, yum! Unfortunately from what I can see you can only get the glutenous one in Australia at the moment.

Gluten free Triple Choc Fudge Dotty Gluten free Triple Choc Fudge DottyI left the Strawberry and Clotted Cream Cookie (with white choc chunks) until last as this is Byron Bay Cookie Company’s newest gluten free flavour and I had heard it was delicious. The cookie didn’t disappoint, as Free From G wrote “it’s just like dipping a strawberry into clotted cream and melted white chocolate”. Unlike the White Choc Chunk and Macadamia Nut Cookie this one wasn’t dry at all.Gluten free Strawberry & Clotted Cream CookieNow we just have to convince Byron Bay Cookie Company to bring the Dotty and Strawberry and Clotted Cream into the country where it all began!
